When seated, a gap easily opens between two buttons, especially when the back is working. A full-length zip does not know this problem and keeps the front closed for the whole round.
Black takes the technical look out of the construction; from a distance the zip reads like a plain seam. Breathable, shape-retaining across the show day and suitable for use under FEI and LPO rules.
