Statutory warranty

This English translation is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version shall prevail.

The statutory warranty (liability for defects) of two years from delivery applies to all goods you buy from Equinista. It is free of charge for you and applies regardless of whether a manufacturer additionally grants its own guarantee.

EU notice: Statutory warranty – at least two years of statutory warranty of conformity for goods sold in the European Union

Official notice pursuant to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960. Further information from the European Commission: europa.eu/youreurope/garantien

What the statutory warranty covers

We are liable for the goods being in conformity with the contract at the time of delivery – that is, matching their description and working as they should. If a defect that was already present at delivery appears within two years of delivery, you can first choose between free repair or free replacement. If you opt for repair, the warranty for the repaired goods is extended once by twelve months. In certain cases, you can reduce the purchase price or withdraw from the contract and receive a refund.

How to report a defect

  1. Contact us as soon as possible – by email at info@equinista.eu or by telephone on 0381 49739777.
  2. Give us your order number and describe the defect, ideally with a photo. Your order confirmation, the invoice or a bank statement is sufficient as proof of purchase.
  3. We will get back to you with the next steps. We bear the cost of any necessary return in warranty cases.

Manufacturer guarantees

In addition to the statutory warranty, manufacturers may grant a voluntary guarantee. Such a guarantee does not restrict your statutory rights. If a manufacturer grants a durability guarantee of more than two years on the goods as a whole, we indicate this on the relevant product page with the EU “GARAN” label; the terms of the guarantee are set by the manufacturer.

Warranty and withdrawal

The warranty is independent of your right of withdrawal. For how to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, see the Right of withdrawal notice; online, you can go directly to Withdraw from contract. Details on liability for defects are set out in our Terms & Conditions.
