Ehrlich: Die Bronzeborsten sind hart, am empfindlichen Strahl arbeitet man mit Gefühl statt mit Druck. Und weil die Bürste klein ist, dauert ein ganzer Huf damit länger als mit der großen Hufbürste – die beiden sind ein Paar, keine Alternative.

The little sister of the hoof brush, built for the clefts of the frog: bronze bristles in the middle for stubborn manure and bedding residue, fine horsehair bristles at the edge for sand and dust. It is narrow enough to get into the clefts and works without water – that is the point, because that is exactly where you do not want to bring in additional moisture in winter.

To be honest: the bronze bristles are hard. On the sensitive frog itself you work with feel and not with pressure. And because the brush is small, cleaning a whole hoof with it takes longer than with the large hoof brush – the two are meant as a pair, not as an alternative.

Directions: Brush the frog and sole and brush out the clefts of the frog to loosen dirt and grime. For stubborn dirt, work with light pressure.
