Zwei Werkzeuge in einem Holzkörper: auf der einen Seite weiche Kokosborsten für Mähne, Schweif und Kopf, auf der anderen ein Kamm aus Holznoppen auf einem nachgiebigen Luftkissen – stößt er auf einen Knoten, gibt das Kissen nach, statt das Haar auszureißen.

Ehrlich: Bei stark verfilztem Langhaar kommt auch dieser Kamm an seine Grenze – dort helfen nur Finger, Geduld und ein Pflegespray. Wer gewohnt ist, mit einem Metallkamm durchzuziehen, wird die Bürste zunächst als langsam empfinden.

Two tools in one wooden body: on one side soft coconut bristles that loosen dirt from mane, tail and head. On the other a comb of wooden nubs set on a yielding air cushion – if it meets a knot, the cushion gives way instead of pulling the hair out. The body is made of walnut wood.

To be honest: with heavily matted long hair even this comb reaches its limit – there only fingers, patience and a care spray help. And the nubs are deliberately blunt: if you are used to pulling through with a metal comb, you will find the brush slow at first. That is exactly the point, because torn-out long hair takes months to grow back.

Directions: First use the coconut bristle side to loosen dirt from the mane and tail; it is also suitable for cleaning the head. Then gently untangle knots with the comb and air cushion on the other side.
