Knee grip or full grip – what is the difference?

With knee grip, the grippy patch sits only on the inside of the knee. This allows more freedom of movement and is mainly ridden in a jumping saddle. With full grip (full seat), the grip runs from the knee up over the seat and gives more hold in the saddle, which is why it is common in dressage. We stock the current collection with knee grip; full-grip models from earlier collections can be found reduced in the Cavalleria Toscana Sale.

Which size do I need?

Cavalleria Toscana fits true to size. For women's breeches we give both the German and the Italian size, for example DE 34 / IT 40. We stock men's breeches in Italian sizes. You will find the conversion in our size guide; if you fall between two sizes, we are happy to advise you by telephone.

Are there white competition breeches?

Yes. The knee-grip breeches and the Revolution breeches are available in white for women and men, and so are the women's breeches with back pockets. You will find more competition wear under competition wear for women and competition wear for men.
