The right rug for every season. From the cooler after training, through the waterproof turnout rug in winter, to the lightweight fly rug in summer. We stock horse rugs from Bucas, Cavalleria Toscana, Equithème, EQUESTRO, Paddock and Vestrum — all sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Coolers

After training, a cooler draws moisture away from the body and keeps the horse warm while it cools down. Fleece for everyday use, wool for competition.

Turnout and winter rugs

Waterproof, windproof and breathable — for horses living in open stables or out in the paddock. The weight in grams indicates the fill: 50 to 100 grams for mild days, 200 to 300 grams for frost.

Stable rugs

Quilted and unlined or warming, depending on the stable climate. They keep the coat clean and are quick to change.

Fly and summer rugs

Lightweight mesh against insects and UV radiation, without the horse overheating underneath.

Finding the right size

The measurement is taken from the withers to the base of the tail, in centimetres. The rug must fully cover the line of the back and must not rub at the shoulder. A rug is considered waterproof from a water column of 1,500 millimetres. If you are unsure, call us — we are happy to advise you personally, including in our shop in Rostock.
