We didn't expect that... and yet we managed it at the weekend in Oldenhagen. The 5-year-old Perlblau was able to collect the gold ribbon in her very first show jumping competition in class A*. We set off on Saturday morning with a good feeling, but without high expectations of our youngster. She showed her best side on the preparation area and mastered the first jumps with concentration. Afterwards, Perlblau and I did a confident round that convinced the judges. We also remained faultless in the following show jumping competition A** and were able to place 4th. We were more than satisfied and very proud to head home on Saturday. We are confident and excited about the coming season.
